Mary is a long-time tech marketer with experience driving marketing programs through the early stages of a startup all the way through IPO and acquisition. She’s also well-versed with growing mid-cap and enterprise corporations looking to drive hyper-growth. As a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, she designs integrated strategies deeply rooted in the Science of Marketing with data-driven decision-making resulting in more leads, scalability, and increased revenue.
Regarded as a thought leader and innovator, Mary has a passion for working collaboratively with her clients to design integrated marketing, public relations and social media programs to drive quantitative results quickly. As a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, Mary has a background steeped in strategic marketing, sales/marketing business process management, communications and digital marketing essential to organizational success of large and small corporations.
Prior to MMS, Mary held several senior marketing positions in a myriad of industries including semiconductors, software, real estate, motion control, nanotechnology, medical robotics and non-profit. She has worked for industry leaders such as Dell, Yardi Systems, Digital Instruments, Veeco Instruments, Motion Engineering/Danaher, Cox Communications, and Computer Motion (now Intuit), where she developed and managed all aspects of successful integrated marketing and PR programs.
She holds an MBA in Global Management, and has received several awards for leadership and exemplary service to the Santa Barbara community as Executive and Marketing Director of two local non-profit organizations. She is published throughout several technology markets, and enjoyed teaching Public Relations at the University of California Santa Barbara Extension program prior to her move to Texas.
When not working, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travel, attending music festivals, and staying active through golf, kayaking, bike riding, Yoga, Pilates, skiing, gardening, camping, cooking and entertaining.
