Parrish Whitaker sees the Live Music Capital of the World as an ideal place to build a business making a drink to prevent hangovers.
The Tennessee native believes the city’s concentration of bars, festivals and happy hours make it a no-brainer for Never Hungover — billed as a natural and sugar-free hangover preventive drink with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. The product is sold in roughly 600 stores around Austin and Food City stores in Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky, Whitaker said. It’s also being sold at local bars, Star Bar, Gibson’s, Saxon Pub and LaVaca Street Bar, where it is also sold as an alcoholic mixer.
